Action 716 (Dec. 95) is part of the Trial of Superman story arc. Superman is being held by the H’tros, charged as the last survivor of Krypton with destroying the planet, or something like that. It makes no sense, the charge. That’s kind of the point, but it doesn’t help a story that has few other redeeming qualities. Michelinie, Dwyer and Rodier are the creative team.
Superman and other prisoners escape. Mope is the most significant, story-wise. The one salient element is the notion of the difficulty of one culture judging another by their standards.
A rescue mission has headed into space to save Superman. Steel, Supergirl, Superboy, and the Eradicator are joined by Alpha Centurion, although Superboy does not trust him.
