Rock’em sock’em on the cover of World’s Finest 45 (April/May 1950).
Although everyone treats Full Steam Foley as if he is senile, the man shows intelligence, courage and persistence in this story, by Cameron and Mortimer.
Thieves have taken over an old ship, painted it with phosphorescent paint, and donned similarly glowing pirate costumes. Most of the sailors believe this is a real ghost ship, but not Foley. They do their best to kill him, and briefly think that he is an actual ghost when he makes it aboard their ship. But he beats the crap out of the armed men, and is unquestionably the hero of the day. But they still talk about his second childhood.
